Attendance Plus minimizes the amount of time and effort needed to record student and staff attendance.

• Attendance Plus is seamlessly integrated with GradeQuick, the world's leading teacher gradebook.

• Notification of corrected office attendance is sent back to the teacher’s gradebook (e.g. teacher’s Absent is changed to Absent Excused by the office).

Tardy Students Swipe ID Cards

Attendance Plus simplifies the process of recording tardy students. As late students enter the school, they simply swipe their ID cards. Attendance Plus records their arrival, changes their absence to a tardy, and automatically prints a tardy slip for admission to class.

Notify Parents of Attendance Problems

Attendance Plus can automatically generate parental notification letters when students exceed your specified tardiness and absence limits (5 days, 10 days, etc.). Each day, the program calculates which students have reached a limit and prints personalized letters to their parents with details of their child's attendance problem.

Our optional e-mail module expands attendance features to let schools e-mail parents these attendance warning notices.

Reports

Attendance Plus' built-in, fully customizable report writer lets you draw upon your attendance data to design and print reports, from customized letters and attendance notices, to detailed reports analyzing your attendance data. Time-saving, ready-to-use templates are included.

• E-mail reports on students' attendance to staff.
• E-mail the daily attendance bulletin to staff each day.

Integrates with PhoneMaster

Since our software is integrated with the PhoneMaster school-home communication system, PhoneMaster can draw upon the student contact and attendance information stored in Attendance Plus to automatically phone parents of students who are absent or who have exceeded a specified number of absences.

Attendance on PDAs

PDA: Our optional AP PDA lets you view attendance on hand-held devices.

• In emergencies and fire drills, the PDA module lets you quickly view the attendance status of any student.
• Access daily and period attendance.
• You can even enter attendance data on PDAs.

Online Attendance

Due to our software's integration with the Edline Web center, schools can easily and quickly make attendance data available online for parents to review. Edline is so esy to use that staff members who are computer novices can quickly learn to post attendance online.

Furthermore, by allowing parents to check their children's attendance online, Edline both increases parental involvement in their children's education and helps schools meet NCLB school-home communication requirements.

Schools can make daily attendance histories available online* for secure private viewing by authorized staff members, the student, and his/her parents. Schools which also have our period attendance module can make period attendance data available online.

Tailor the Program to Your School

Attendance Plus lets schools customize the program to meet their unique attendance requirements:

Period Attendance

An additional, integrated Period Attendance module is available for middle and high schools to track attendance period-by-period. With the Period Attendance module, you can generate reports on period attendance and include period attendance histories on students report cards.
