Software Sales Representative
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.

Responsibilities:
- Aggressively generate new leads by contacting prospective accounts within assigned territory, and follow up on assigned new leads and referrals resulting from lead generation activities.
- Prepare presentations, sales quotations, cost analyses, and other documents required during the sales process.
- Attend conferences and presentations in various cities throughout the country as needed.
- Participate in other Sales & Marketing activities and company-related events (shows, training, etc.)
- Provide product demonstrations on-site and over the Internet.
- Develop a solid understanding of all products sold by Rediker Software and those of competitors.
- Work closely with executive team, marketing, development, support and training departments.
Requirements and Skills:
- Four year college degree.
- At least two years of sales experience; previous training in selling skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of computer software and hardware.
- Organized, with excellent project management skills and thorough follow-through.
- Creativity and professional writing skills a plus.
- Highly motivated, flexible, adaptable nature mixed with a good sense of humor.
- Able to deal with different personality styles.
Industry Background Is A Plus:
- Experience selling to the educational market.
- Knowledge of schools and the roles of educators and administrators.
- Prior work experience in schools is a major plus.

Web Developer / Web Manager
We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Web Developer/Manager to join our Marketing Department.
Responsibilities Include:
- The Web Developer/Manager will possess a strong understanding of the role of the website and Web/SEO strategies in the overall marketing mix.
- Gain a thorough understanding of existing rediker.com architecture, and additional domains.
- SEO is critical - manage and maintain existing search engine positioning, advance new SEO goals, and define website content development with proper SEO methodologies.
- Manage and maintain our support site and customer user forum - debug issues as needed.
- Build Web applications from scratch, and for our existing sites, while maintaining cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
- Modify and enhance existing PHP-coded pages and content.
- Modify and update all web page content.
- Continue development on the framework and CMS that power our websites.
- Participate in other Marketing activities and company-related events (shows, training, etc.)
- Work closely with executive team, sales, development, support and training departments.
- Gain and maintain familiarity with Rediker Software products, and those of competitors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Web Design or Web-related fields, or equivalent work experience.
- At least three years of Website Development/Management and SEO experience.
- Proficiency (hand coding) with HTML, PHP, SQL, CSS, Javascript/jQuery.
- Experience working with PHP MVC frameworks such as Zend or Codeigniter.
- Experience working with and configuring IIS web servers.
- Experience with .htaccess, mod_rewrite and regular expressions.
- Experience with Flash, Photoshop and related tools (Creative Suite, more)
- Proven experience with SEO and search engine marketing initiatives.
- Experience with pay-per-click advertising, Web analytics and other Web reporting products.
- E-commerce experience a plus.
- Organized, with excellent project management skills and thorough follow-through.
- Creativity, graphic design experience and professional writing skills a plus.
- Highly motivated, flexible, adaptable nature with a good sense of humor. Able to deal with different personality styles.
