Sales Representative

Rediker currently has openings for Sales Representatives responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation to close to customer retention, in an assigned territory. Reps are to work within the sales team for the achievement of revenue generation, customer responsiveness, and customer contact goals.

Responsibilities Include:

Aggressively generate new leads by contacting prospective accounts within assigned territory, and follow up on assigned new leads and referrals resulting from lead generation activities.
Prepare presentations, sales quotations, cost analyses, and other documents required during the sales process.
Attend conferences and presentations in various cities throughout the country as needed.
Provide product demonstrations on-site and over the Internet.
Develop a solid understanding of Administrator�s Plus and the other software products sold by Rediker Software.

Experience:

Four year college degree.
Knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Two to four years sales experience; previous training in selling skills and techniques.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Web Developer / Web Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Web Developer/Manager to join our Marketing Department.

Responsibilities Include:

The Web Developer/Manager will possess a strong understanding of the role of the website and Web/SEO strategies in the overall marketing mix.
Gain a thorough understanding of existing rediker.com architecture, and additional domains.
SEO is critical - manage and maintain existing search engine positioning, advance new SEO goals, and define website content development with proper SEO methodologies.
Manage and maintain our support site and customer user forum - debug issues as needed.
Build Web applications from scratch, and for our existing sites, while maintaining cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.
Modify and enhance existing PHP-coded pages and content.
Modify and update all web page content.
Continue development on the framework and CMS that power our websites.
Participate in other Marketing activities and company-related events (shows, training, etc.)
Work closely with executive team, sales, development, support and training departments.
Gain and maintain familiarity with Rediker Software products, and those of competitors.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Web Design or Web-related fields, or equivalent work experience.
At least three years of Website Development/Management and SEO experience.
Proficiency (hand coding) with HTML, PHP, SQL, CSS, Javascript/jQuery.
Experience working with PHP MVC frameworks such as Zend or Codeigniter.
Experience working with and configuring IIS web servers.
Experience with .htaccess, mod_rewrite and regular expressions.
Experience with Flash, Photoshop and related tools (Creative Suite, more)
Proven experience with SEO and search engine marketing initiatives.
Experience with pay-per-click advertising, Web analytics and other Web reporting products.
E-commerce experience a plus.
Organized, with excellent project management skills and thorough follow-through.
Creativity, graphic design experience and professional writing skills a plus.
Highly motivated, flexible, adaptable nature with a good sense of humor. Able to deal with different personality styles.

Industry Background Is A Plus:

Understanding of software for the educational market.
Basic knowledge of schools and the roles of educators and administrators.
