What is our Deluxe Backup Service?  • Secure Off-Site Backup: Easy automatic daily backup of your school's administrative software data onto Rediker Software’s secure servers. Get copies of your data safely out of your school!  • Numerous Copies of Your Data Maintained: You may not discover that a file has become corrupted until weeks or months after the corruption occurred. The Deluxe Backup Service retains numerous copies of your backed up data; you can always recover files to their original state, days, weeks, months or years in the past.  • How Does it Work? Rediker Software's Backup Utility can be set to automatically backup your data any time of day, 24/7 and then send it over the internet to our servers.  • Personal Backup Consultant: Our Deluxe Backup Service includes the services of a PBC, a Personal Backup Consultant. Your own PBC will work with your personnel to make sure that a proper backup system is established at your school and that your data is successfully sent to our servers on a daily basis. If your data is not received your PBC will send you an e-mail and attempt to contact you by phone within the next business day.  • Validation of Data: Once received on our servers, your PBC will examine the backup log sent with your data and inform you by e-mail or phone call if there are any problems.  • Easy Restoration of Data: If you ever need to restore any files, your personal backup consultant will help you get those you need.

Deluxe Data Backup Service...The Details  • Data and pictures from Administrator's Plus' current school year and for each licensed user are sent to our servers.  • Use the Backup Service as a supplemental backup system to your school's current backup system. Your school still needs frequent backups of its entire hard drive, including other programs besides Rediker Software.  • Due to their large size, photos, portfolio files, as well as the program executable files are not included in the Deluxe Off-Site Data Backup Service. These items should be backed up by your normal backup procedures. Your Personal Backup Consultant will help you establish these procedures.  • Rediker Software's servers provide mirrored drives and an additional tape backup for secure and reliable storage of school data.  • Offers up to one megabyte of storage per student.

Preserve Your School's Data Since your school's data is backed up to our servers in the U.S. each evening,  AP Hosted Services protects your school's data in the event of a natural disaster such as a flood, tornado or hurricane.* Our technicians validate that your backup was received each evening and contact you if we did not receive it.  We will help you restore any files you may need.  If a natural or other disaster damages your network, we can temporarily mount your data on our servers and give you access over the web from anywhere.  For example, when Katrina hit Louisiana, New Orleans schools with this service  were able to “temporarily” access their data for nearly a year until they were able to re-open their buildings.
