Keep copies of your Administrator's Plus data safely outside of your school by establishing automatic daily backups onto Rediker Software's secure servers.
Numerous Copies of Your Data Maintained
You may not discover that a file has become corrupted until
weeks or months after the corruption occurred. The Secure
Off-Site Data Backup Service retains numerous copies of
your backed-up data; you can always recover files to their
original state - days, weeks, months or years in the past.
How Does It Work?
Rediker Software's Data Backup Utility can be set to
automatically back up your data any time of day, 24/7, and
then send it over the Internet to our servers.
Personal Backup Consultant
Our Secure Off-Site Data Backup Service includes the
services of a PBC, a Personal Backup Consultant. Your
consultant will work with your staff to make sure that your
data is successfully sent to our servers on a daily basis. If
your data is not received, your consultant will send you an
e-mail and attempt to contact you by phone.
Personal Backup Consultant
Our Secure Off-Site Data Backup Service includes the
services of a PBC, a Personal Backup Consultant. Your
consultant will work with your staff to make sure that your
data is successfully sent to our servers on a daily basis. If
your data is not received, your consultant will send you an
e-mail and attempt to contact you by phone.
Validation of Data
Once received on our servers, your backup consultant
will update the backup log and inform you if there are
any problems.

If you ever need to restore any files, your Personal Backup
Consultant will help you get those you need.
Secure Off-Site Data Backup Service...the Details
- Rediker Software's servers employ mirrored drives, and an additional tape backup, for ultra-secure and reliable storage of your Administrator's Plus data. After one year, older data is permanently stored on hard drives.
- Administrator's Plus Secure Off-Site Data Backup Service extends over twelve months - one full year (365 days) of uninterrupted service. The automatic daily backup service will not be suspended and restarted based on the school calendar year.
- The Secure Off-Site Data Backup Services offers up to one megabyte of storage per student. Due to their large size and relative stability, portfolio files and the program executable files are not copied by the Backup Service. If needed, additional storage space can be economically purchased.
- The Secure Off-Site Data Backup Service should be used as a supplemental backup system to your school's current backup system. Your school must still frequently back up its entire hard drive, which includes other programs besides those from Rediker Software.
