Transactions- The QSP Point-Of-Sale cafeteria software system allows the user to simply choose the student and their lunch items. The software calculates the total amount owed and can deduct it from the student's balance.
- During the transaction, the student's photo and PIN appear on the screen, along with "buttons" for each food item offered, the student's current balance, student's meal status (in user-defined code), the time and the date of the transaction.
- To "check out" the student, just enter (touch) the button for the food items purchased. A list describing those items appears along with the quantity chosen, cost of each item, and a subtotal. When the transaction is completed, the total can be automatically deducted from the student's pre-paid balance stored within QSP. A receipt for each transaction can be printed if a receipt printer is installed.
QSP's Powerful Database- Information on each student is stored within QSP's secure SQL server, including data needed to track account status, issue statements, and create a variety of reports.
- Items can easily be added or deleted and can be organized in categories allowing for entry of as many items as you require.
Simple Identification Verification- QSP uses student IDs as identification. A student can be identified by swiping a photo ID through the bar code reader, entering the student's ID into the pin pad, manually typing the ID, or choosing the student's photo from a thumbnail display.
Pay Online- The ideal payment method for parents with access to the Internet! We offer a service allowing parents to simply login and add money from their credit cards directly into their child's QSP account. If the student ID number is known, money can be added to any account within the system. View screens
- Data from this system is transmitted electronically and automatically overnight to the QSP system. The child will have the funds available for school meals the next day. Parents can also view the Patron Activity Reports within the system.
Reports- QSP provides the option of running a variety of useful reports to help with the day-to-day management of your food service transaction system, including Transaction History and Patron Activity reports.
- These reports provide comprehensive data on each customer showing what was purchased during the required time period.
- Appropriate reports can then be e-mailed anywhere. This would be particularly handy in a school system. Imagine being able to provide a parent with a listing of what their child purchased!
Letter Generation- Letters can be generated advising of low account balances.
