Rediker Software offers data conversion services to electronically convert existing student and staff demographic data for importation into Administrator's Plus. Additionally, we offer data conversion for historical courses and grades.
The information below contains instructions on how the data must be formatted and what fields must exists already in order to convert it into the Administrator's Plus format.
Demographic Data Conversion
The customer is responsible for exporting any and all data from their existing student information system. Rediker Software assumes no responsibility for accessing and exporting demographic data from your current system.
The exported demographic data must meet the follow conditions:
- Standard ASCII file format (Comma separated, Tab separated, fixed width, etc.)
- Column headers must be a part of the ASCII file given to Rediker Software.
- Additional electronic documentation must be provided that describes in detail the data contained in each field of the ASCII export file.
- The old student ID is strongly recommended as a part of the ASCII export file. This ID will be mandatory for any historical data conversions performed by Rediker Software.
- The table below shows the mandatory fields (in order) the must be included in the export file, even if the field is left blank.

Any and all field data listed after "OLD STUDENT ID" will be placed into AdminPlus fields in the order given in the import file
Historical Data Conversion
The customer is responsible for exporting any and all data from their existing student information system. Rediker Software assumes no responsibility for accessing and exporting historical data from your current system.
The exported historical data must be formatted as comma delimited or fixed width as follows:

- OLD_STUDENT_ID: This is the unique student ID from the old system. This old student ID must also be entered as field data into Administrator's Plus.
- OLD_COURSE_NUM: This is the course ID number from the old system. This old course number must be entered into the "ALIAS" field when creating your school's master course list in Administrator's Plus.
- SCHOOLYEAR: This is the school year for the grade received. (ex. 2002-2003)
- SEM1_GRADE: If your school is a semester grading school, then this would be the Semester 1 grade for the course.
- SEM2_GRADE: If your school is a semester grading school, then this would be the Semester 2 grade for the course.
- FINAL_GRADE: This is the FINAL grade for the course.
The customer must create their Master Course List in Administrator’s Plus prior to any conversion. Each newly created course in Administrator’s Plus must have the OLD_COURSE_NUM entered into the "ALIAS" field.
