Most American parents complain that their children play too many video games. But at Hilltop Preparatory School in Bryn Mawr, PA parents are encouraging their kids to engage in gaming - during school time! Thanks to the innovative thinking of Technology Integration Director Brian Betteridge, Hilltop students are practicing communication skills and learning academic principles while playing games like Minecraft and The Sims.

Betteridge, a Rediker Software customer since 2019, says using esports gives students the opportunity to compete comfortably in a team activity while providing a neurodiverse learning experience. It’s a win-win, where teachers lives are made easier, students thrive in a virtual environment, and everyone at the school embraces technology.
