Rediker Software, a leader in school administrative software, recently announced that it has partnered with Rave Mobile Safety (Rave) to improve student safety and shorten response times during a school emergency. With the Rave Panic Button, Rediker can now offer advanced emergency app system technology to its customers ensuring they are able to efficiently communicate to everyone in their school community.

Rave Panic Button: A one touch emergency app

Through Rediker’s strategic partnership with Rave, school faculty and staff now have the tools to report emergencies quickly. The Rave Panic Button simultaneously informs them of the location and the nature of the emergency without time-consuming telephone conversations or other processes delaying an emergency response.

In the event of an on-site crisis, an organization member can activate the Rave Panic Button app system by pushing one of five emergency button types. Upon activation, the app will instantly communicate details of the emergency to teachers, staff and school resource officers, while simultaneously notifying 9-1-1 and first responders. And Rave Panic Button’s Staff Assist feature enables authorized employees to communicate with on-site groups or individuals outside of an emergency. Internal groups and message templates are predetermined to enable fast communication and reduce the duration of disruptions.
