PK-12 schools across the country and around the world are finding it easier than ever to collect data and re-enroll students with Online Forms from Rediker Software, Inc. In the past year, over 200 schools have implemented Online Forms and, as a result, saved thousands of dollars in paper costs and hundreds of hours of data entry.
Seamlessly integrated with Rediker Software’s student information system (SIS) Administrator’s Plus, Online Forms allow schools to create forms for parents, guardians, students and staff to complete online. Schools can opt to have a login page for the forms or send out an e-mail with a direct link to the forms.
“Unlike other online form systems where data is just sent to an ASCII or CSV file, our Online Forms data is automatically sent to the school’s SIS where school staff can accept, edit or reject the data,” explained Rich Rediker, CEO and Founder of Rediker Software. “If accepted, the SIS is updated with the new data, eliminating any data entry or importing on the school’s part. That is pretty slick.”
The John Cooper School in Woodland, Texas began using Online Forms for re-enrollment this year. “Online Forms save us hours of extra time because the re-enrollment data flows automatically into our Administrator’s Plus database,” stated Steven Sandifer of the Technology Department. “I can easily create the forms with the tools in the software, Online Forms have really made a difference at our school.”
Schools have discovered many other uses for Rediker Software’s Online Forms including verifying demographics, online course requests, permission slips, after school activity forms, online surveys and athletic forms. Online Forms also allow parents to securely pay invoices online via credit card, PayPal or designated bank account. Parents will soon be able to submit excused absent and tardy forms online.
