Rediker Software Launches New PlusPortals Mobile App for Parents and Students
Hampden, MA – August 28, 2025 – Rediker Software, a leader in school management software, today announced the launch of its brand new PlusPortals Mobile App, now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app provides enhanced communication between schools, parents, and students, replacing the former ParentPlus and StudentPlus apps with a unified, streamlined experience.
The all-new PlusPortals App introduces a simplified, intuitive user interface with colorful and engaging displays. The most exciting new concept is the Feed, which brings together items from multiple sources:
- News combines school, class and group announcements.
- Calendar combines school, class and group calendar events.
- Scores combine information from all the student's classes.
- Recent Scores from the last 30 days of assessments.
- Missing Work assessments tagged by the teacher as Missing.
- Assignments combine all the coursework assignments from the student’s classes.
These new feeds significantly improve how parents and students access vital school and classroom information. Other key features in the new app include the ability for parents to quickly switch between multiple students' profiles and access school announcements, grades, assignments, and other important resources from a single, convenient platform.

Existing ParentPlus and StudentPlus app users will need to download the new PlusPortals Mobile App, as the former apps will be discontinued in October.
